So, I work at a library in a downtown area. Fridays are usually strange, and today was no exception. I pop out of the back room to put away something when I notice the large mass of people sitting at the tables. There are some groups of two or three, but most look like they are alone. They are just sitting, looking straight ahead.
It looked like they were waiting for the end of the world, like someone�had heard that the massive stone building that is�our main city library would be a great safe haven. Just really weird.
